Celebrity Census — Government & Politics
For genealogists, it's hard to say which category of celebrity census is the most popular. Certainly it's always fun to see the occupation and address listed for the President of the United States and other high-ranking elected officials throughout history.
At right is a portrait of the first U.S. President, George Washington. While serving as the first President, Washington was enumerated in his first and only census, dying before the second census was conducted in 1800. For a complete listing of all U.S. Presidents and their participation in the census, visit our Presidential Census page.
